THE LETTER

The Bible is not a collection of books
Put together randomly;
There’s a common thread that runs throughout
It’s an amazing tapestry.

It’s all about the redemption of man,
God’s plan for you and me;
It guides us through each step to take,
Laid out so carefully.

Jesus is there on every page,
Although not called by name;
From Genesis until the end,
The message is the same.

He wants us all to come to Him,
He tells us we’re adored;
He wrote the Bible to let us know,
It’s a letter from the Lord.
