THE PARADOX

What a paradox we see
When God became a man;
A holy Deity stepped on earth
To fulfill the Father’s plan.

Being human was the only way
For Him to complete the story;
His deity wasn’t laid aside,
He laid aside His glory.

He offered Himself in our stead,
He was our sacrifice;
The God of heaven died for us,
He paid the greatest price.
